Home My Public Portal AboutOrd. 14-14No. -14 -14 �.a�a1T�r� �� z•�>?��x, �� fJ� AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR VARIOUS INI IPROVEMENTS FOR THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET, COUNTY OF -MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY, APPROPRIATING GRANT FUNDS PROVIDED FROM THE MIDDLESEX COUNTY OPEN SPACE TRUST FUND FOR ACQUISITION, LYIPROVEMENTS, UPGRADES AND ENHANCEMENTS OF THE CARTERET RITZ THEATER PROJECT FOR THE COST THEREOF BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET IN THE COUN'T'Y OF NEDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Borough of Carteret, in the County of Middlesex, New Jersey, hereby authorizes the acquisition, improvements, upgrades, support and enhancements of and to the 2014 Carteret Ritz Theater Project, together with all purposes necessary, ancillary, incidental or appurtenant thereto. SECTION 2. For said improvements or purposes, there is hereby appropriated the sum of $350,000 which amounts are made available from the Middlesex County Open Space Trust Funds. SECTION 3. The Capital Budget of the Borough is hereby amended to confamr with the provisions of this Ordinance to the extent of any inconsistency herewith. SECTION 4. The purposes described hr Section 1 herein are not current expenses. These are all Improvements that the Borough may lawfully undertake as General Improvements, and no part of the costs thereof has been or shall be specially assessed on property specially benefited thereby. _ SECTION 5.
