Germain , Richard Perry , Kathleen Krikorian , Ed Shephard , Rebecca Alvin , and non - member Eric Bohn . Rog read the required message regarding public meeting rules under COVID . Ratification of minutes : of August 17 meeting Approved unanimously . Treasurer's Report : Paid $ 1 , 432 in the last period with $4 , 290 remaining Rog and Richard will be meeting the town treasurer to get the funding for 2020 figured out and start off in 2021 on the right foot . We will be moving forward with granting but we will not know exactly how much until the state budget is confirmed . However , Mr Guillome from MCC said that the funds come from the lottery and the state cannot withhold these funds . We are waiting to know how much is in the till from the lottery that can be allocated to LCC . Approved report unanimously Potential for new Cultural Council members : We have 6 , we will have 7 with Eric' s approval but it would be good to have 7- 9 . Eric will ask some people and let us know . Getting the word out for the 2021 round of funding : Notice about grant cycle for 2021 : The Brewster Cultural Council will be accepting grant applications from October 1 to November 16 for cultural activities that occur from January 1 , 2021 to December 31 , 2021 . Applicants must submit an application through the Massachusetts Cultural Council . Richard will check with his sister at the Chronicle . Tonia will do the calendars . Eric will share it on Brewster Community Space Facebook page . Rog will do Brewster Town and email blast , write to past awardees . Rebecca will include it in the Ptown magazine . Timeline for grant applications and evaluation . • Thursday , October 1 : Applications open , grant cycle begins , and LCC priorities due to MCC • Monday , November 16 : Grant cycle closes , applications to LCCs due , and LCC Account Form due ( Rog and Richard ) • Between November 18 and December 1 : Panel Books created and sent to councils • Between November 16 and January 31 , 2021 : Voting Meetings held 1 i i i I Discussion : Need to set dates in December and January for meetings at our next meeting as these are busy times of year . Potential Monday meeting dates in December and January include : December 7 , 14 , 21 , 28 and January 4 , 11 , 18 , 25 . It might be possible to get some of the applications between Nov . 16 and Dec . 1 Rog will look into it . On Dec . 1 the applications will be available for BCC members to review electronically through the Panel Books website which is password protected . The new members are encouraged to review the LCC toolkit online prior to the next meeting and Rog will circulate the score sheet we used last year for discussion . Rog will inquire about the rules for going into an executive session if needs be in terms of debates about applications . Report filing due dates : Rog and Richard will work together to complete the required reports . Saturday , October 31 : Sections 1 & 2 of Annual Report completed Monday , November 16 : LCC Account Form due Tuesday , February 16 , 2021 : LCC Annual Report due to Mass Cultural Council Brewster Cultural District : Rog will find out more about where this stands and who is involved in organizing it within the town . It will be on the agenda at the next meeting . Next meeting : October 19th 4 : 00 Motion to adjourn passed unanimously .
