RESOLUTION NO. 2016-074
A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR AMENDMENT TO
THE PLANNED AREA DEVELOPMENT (PAD) ORDINANCE
Whereas, The City of Tiffin currently has a Planned Area Development (PAD)
ordinance, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognized the need to update and
improve the ordinance, and;
Whereas, the City Council currently has a moratorium on any new PAD's until the new
ordinance is written, and;
Whereas, the City has been working on the new ordinance, and;
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that it typically holds a public
hearing prior to amending an Ordinance;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set a
Public Hearing for the 3rd day of January 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.
On the 6t" day of December, 2016, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2016-074, A RESOLUTION
SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR AMENDMENT TO THE PLANNED
AREA DEVELOPMENT (PAD) ORDINANCE and made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Havens.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Ryan,
Nays: None.
Absent: Kahler.
Whereupon Four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2016-074, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE
FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR AMENDMENT TO THE PLANNED AREA
DEVELOPMENT (PAD) ORDINANCE to be adopted and signified his approval of the
same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 6t" day of December, 2016.
