IMPORTANT NOTICE
Dear Residents and Abutters of Sparkill Street and Piermont Street
The Department of Public Works would like to inform you that we and our contractor
Commonwealth Construction & Utilities, Inc. will be working, WEATHER PERMITTING,
Monday, July 8 2019 to replace a fire hydrant and gate valve and to cut and cap the
existing water main in conjunction with the water main replacement project on Piermont
Street.
Water service will be shut down from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please make arrangements
to store water for drinking and cooking during these hours. The Department will try to
minimize the amount of time that service will be discontinued to perform this work.
