RESOLUTION APPROVING RECERTIFICATION OF STAFLEX
PRODUCTS INTO THE UEZ PROGRAM
WHEREAS, a requirement to stay active in the UEZ Program is to increase the
workforce by at least one full or part-time employee each year; and
WHEREAS, if this requirement is not met, the New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zone
has developed an IN-LIEU Procedure for re-entry into the program; and
WHEREAS, if said business makes an improvement to the business property and
meets certain other criteria, a possible re-entry is allowable; and
WHEREAS, Staflex Products has a project plan to install a chemical resistant floor
in the company's production facility; and
WHEREAS, said project is to be completed by September 30, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that Staflex Products meets all the requirements and is hereby
approved for re-entry into the UEZ Program

and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 5, 1999.
