BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
RESOLUTION NO. 2-1998
WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation of the State of Indiana is scheduled to
begin construction work on a new bridge across U.S. 40 spanning the East
Fork of the Whitewater River; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Department of Transportation to acquire right -of-
way across certain lands owned by the City of Richmond; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that said bridge be constructed; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Board of Public Works and Safety desires to
facilitate the construction of said bridge.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Public Works and Safety of
the City of Richmond, Indiana that any City Officials, including but not limited to Mayor
Dennis Andrews, are hereby authorized to execute any and all necessary documents to
grant right of entry and any necessary right -of -way to the State of Indiana for
construction of a new bridge on U.S. 40 spanning the East Fork of the Whitewater River.
