RESOLUTION NO. 3-1999
WHEREAS, Indiana Code 36- 8- 3 -3(d) requires Common Council to fix the annual
compensation of all police officers and fire fighters by ordinance before
August 19" of each year for the ensuing budget year, and
WHEREAS, Indiana Code 3 6- 8- 3 -3(d) also authorizes the Board of Public Works
Safety to fix the compensation of members of the Police and Fire and
Departments if the Common Council fails to do so, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Richmond Board of Public
Works and Safety that the following positions be compensated not in excess of the
respective sums hereafter set forth during calendar year 2000, to wit:
Section 1 - Police De artment
1.06 Additional Compensation. In addition to the bi- weekly salaries set forth in
Sections 1.01 through 1.05 above, all benefits agreed upon in the agreement dated
November 9, 1995 and supplemented by addendum dated November 6, 1997 betty
