ORDINANCE NO. 398
An Ordinance Amending Section 525.03 of the Code of Ordinances
Regarding the Park Commission
The city council of the city of Medina ordains as follows:
SECTION I. The Medina code of ordinances is amended by deleting the stricken material and
adding the underlined material as follows:
525.03. Term. Members of the park commission shall serve staggered terms of three years.
Terms shall begin January 1. No person shall serve more than nine consecutive years on the park
commission. For purposes of this ordinance, consecutive years shall not be considered prior to
January 1, 2005. Any person who has served on the park commission for nine consecutive years
may be appointed again after an interruption in service of at least one year.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be effective upon its adoption and publication.
