AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A LEASE OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE,
TOGETHER WITH FACILITIES LOCATED THEREON, OWNED BY THE TOWN
OF FRASER, TO FRASER VALLEY SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER OF GRAND
COUNTY COUNCIL ON AGING, INC., FOR THE USE OF THE FRASER
VALLEY SENIOR CITIZENS ORGANIZATION, FOR A TERM IN EXCESS OF
ONE YEAR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
FRASER, COLORADO:
1. Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, 31-
15-713, the Town of Fraser has entered into a Lease with the
Fraser Valley Senior Citizens Center of Grand County Council
on Aging, Inc., for the benefit of the Fraser Valley Senior
Citizens Center for part of the real estate and improvements
located on lots 11 through 30, in block 8, of the Town of
Fraser, County of Grand, State of Colorado;
2. Said Lease is dated ~ I , 1981, and has
been approved by proper motion of the Board of Trustees of
the Town of Fraser at a public meeting held on such date,
and has been approved by the Fraser Valley Senior Citizens
Center of Grand County Council on Aging, Inc.;
3. Said lease provides for an initial term of five
(5) years with certain renewable rights which would permit
the Tenant to extend the term of the Lease to ~ I
2001, if not terminated earlier by the Town of Fraser.
4. Said Lease provides for a rent of $1.00 per year
during the entire term, including renewal terms, of the
Lease.
5. Said Lease is hereby authorized and the Mayor and
Town Clerk are hereby directed to execute said Lease.
6. The described Lease is deemed by the Town of
Fraser to be in the best interests of the Town of Fraser and
its citizens.
7. The area to be leased under said Lease, during the
term of said Lease, is not now needed by the Town of Fraser
for its own use, nor does the Town of Fraser expect to need
said area during the term of said Lease.
8. The Fraser Valley Senior Citizens Center of Grand
County Council on Aging, Inc. and the Fraser Valley Senior
Citizens are hereby determined to be community groups.
