BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
RESOLUTION NO. 9 -2015
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ROSEVIEW TRANSIT
MANAGER TO EXECUTE CERTAIN ADVERTISING CONTRACTS
ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Indiana Code 5- 22 -6 -1 et seq. and Richmond City Code 41.11, the City of
Richmond Board of Public Works and Safety (hereinafter `Board ") as the City's
Purchasing Authority is authorized to enter into contracts for purchase of services on
behalf of the City of Richmond, Indiana, and where Board approval constitutes formal
Board action, contracts that have been formally approved by the Board are executed by
all members of the Board; and
WHEREAS, The Board wishes to authorize the Manager of Roseview Transit to execute any contracts
sought for non - public works advertising services in an amount not to exceed Five
Hundred Dollars ($500.00) upon prior approval by the Richmond Law Department
during the 2015 calendar year, which contracts would normally be approved by Board
action prior to said contracts taking effect; and
WHEREAS, It is in the best interest of the City of Richmond that the Board of Public Works and
Safety authorize the Manager of Roseview Transit to execute any advertising contracts
that have been reviewed by the Richmond Law Department provided that said
agreements do not exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, that said Board hereby authorizes the Manager of Roseview Transit during the 2015
calendar year to execute any advertising contracts that have been reviewed by the Richmond Law
Department provided that said agreements do not exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).
Passed and adopted this - day of r 2015, by the Board of Public Works and
Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
