SUBSTANDARD WATER SERVICE REPLACEMENTS
#8, #12, #16-18, #24-26 and #45-47 Oakland Street
#23-25 and #27-29 Morton Street
#17-19 Howard Street
Dear Residents and Abutters:
The Watertown Department of Public Works and our contractor Paolini LLC would like to inform
you that we will be replacing sub -standard (cement lined and/or cast iron) water services at the
addresses listed above. If your address is not listed, then our records indicate your water
service is copper in the street and does not require replacement.
Replacements and upgrades will include only the water service pipe from the town water main
to the curb stop (usually in the sidewalk area). The work for each home will require
approximately 3-6 hours to complete.
Weather permitting, work will begin on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
The Watertown Police will be informed of the construction and its effects. Typical hours of
construction work are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
