Present for the Closed Session were Mayor Horace H. Johnson, Sr., Commissioners Kenneth Chavious, Frances Dancy, Evelyn Lloyd, Mark Sheridan, and Brian Lowen. Staff present were Town Manager Eric Peterson, Town Clerk Donna Armbrister, Planning Director Margaret Hauth, Police Chief Nathaniel Eubanks, and Town Attorney Robert E. Hornik, Jr. Town Attorney Bob Hornik updated the Board on the Reservoir Litigation cases. Town Manager Eric Peterson informed the Board that the Scott family has property that they have expressed an interest in selling to the Town. Due to the minimum lot size, the Town would only be able to purchase 3,000 square feet. After some discussion, and by consensus, the Board directed staff to do a layout of the property showing approximately how many additional parking spaces could be created if the property were purchased, and find out from the family, if they would be interested in selling the entire property including the house. The Board also directed staff to diagram a layout of the existing Town Hall facility showing available building sites. Upon a motion by Commissioner Sheridan, seconded by Commissioner Lowen, the Board moved to return to Open Session be a vote of 5-0. The motion was declared passed. espectfulIy submitted, Donna F.
