o Continue drainage, curb, and sidewalk installation at the Spring Street/Common Street
intersection
o Adjust castings throughout project area
o Top course paving of Orchard Street Extension, Katherine Road, and Columbia Street
date to be determined
• Road Program
o Continue driveway forming and pouring on Chandler Street, Burnham Street and
Bridgham Ave.
o Continue forming and pouring sidewalks, accessible ramps, and driveways on Piermont
Street and Tappan Ave.
o As work pace permits, begin stripping sidewalks and curb installation on Bartlett Street
• Complete Streets Project
o Adjust castings on Watertown Street
o Finish installing rumble strip on Watertown Street at Theurer Park
o Paving of Watertown Street, Whites Ave. and Linear Park date to be determined
• Sewer System Rehabilitation
o No work planned
• Sidewalk Repair
o Continue sidewalk repairs on Spring Street between Summer Street and Palfrey Street
and Spring Street at municipal lot and Baptist Walk
o As work pace permits, begin sidewalk repairs on Emerson Road
• 2020 Water Main Replacement
o Chlorination and testing of temporary by-pass system
o Test pits to determine soil materials and groundwater elevations at various locations
o Replace hydrant on Main Street between Hersom Street and Essex Street (requires
shutdown)
• National Grid
o Continue Irving Street gas main relay
o Continue gas main relays on Forest Street
o Continue work on Belmont Street at Duff Street
o Continue gas relay on Wheeler Lane at Riverside Ave.
o Continue work on Templeton Parkway at Mt. Auburn Street
o Note: service connections on all main relays on hold due to COVID-19
