RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER
WHEREAS, on July 20, 1998 the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret
approved a contract to Serenity Group, Inc. in the amount $2,844,400.00, and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has informed the Governing Body that a
modification of the contract is reasonable and necessary, and
WHEREAS, the Architect has further certified that said modifications were
unforeseen at the time the original contract was awarded.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the sum of $425,000.00 is
hereby added from the original contract and payment of the modified amount is
hereby approved.
Adopted this 4th day of February, 1999
and Certified as a true copy of the
original on February 5, 1999.
