A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE NEW PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 4011.67:002,
AS BEING_COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PROCESS
THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on May 1, 2012, the City Council awarded a contract to DMC
Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $53,432 for the New Pedestrian Improvement
Project; and
WHEREAS, the project started on May 21, 2012, and was completed on August
2, 2012, and Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on August 16, 2012 and
found that all work related to the repair and construction of new sidewalks was
completed in accordance with the contract requirements; and
WHEREAS, the total construction cost is $49,169.47.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts The New
Pedestrian Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.002 as complete in accordance
with contract documents;. and, authorizes the City Engineer to record the Notice of
Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2 day- of October, 2012.
