ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION

Resident and Abutters:
Your road has been selected for roadway improvements consisting of roadway reclamation and
repaving of the roadway, installation of granite curbing, and new concrete sidewalks (on the
DCR side of the road only), driveway aprons, and accessible ramps.
Weather permitting, the contractor, Onyx Corporation, will begin stripping the existing asphalt
surface and then grading and compacting for the new roadway surface on Thursday, October
29, 2020.
Upon completion, a binder (first) course asphalt pavement will then be placed on top of the new
roadway base. You will be notified prior to paving and at other major project milestones.
Where necessary, 'No Parking' signs will be posted along the area selected for road work.
Please do not park your car in the posted area. The Watertown Police will be informed of the
construction and its effects. Typical hours of construction work are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
