COMPLETE STREETS IMPROVEMENTS
WHITES AVENUE at LINEAR PARK
SALTONSTALL PARK
Dear Abutters and Users of Whites Avenue at Linear Park:
Please be informed that Onyx Corporation will be performing construction work on Whites Avenue at Linear
Park to install a raised crosswalk. Work in Saltonstall Park will include a widening of the current sidewalk. A
schematic of the work, which includes, curb, sidewalk, accessible ramps and other safety improvements, is

During the course of the work, the sidewalk through Saltonstall Park will be closed, as will the sidewalk
through Linear Park, from Forest Street to Whites Ave.
• Work is scheduled to begin the week of May 11, 2020.
• Typical work hours will be 7 AM to 4 PM.
• Through traffic and parking restrictions on Whites Ave. may be in place in the work area during working
hours.
• Please note that there may be lapses in work due to different crews performing different phases of work.

• The Watertown Police will be informed of the construction and its effects. Police details will be present
during work hours.
All work will follow the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
