Re: Ordinance 31-2020 Grant Ordinance – DOJ
Ordinance 31-2020 is an Appropriation Ordinance Authorizing the Submittal,
Acceptance and Appropriation of a grant from the Department of Justice.
The United States Department of Justice (“DOJ”), Office of Justice Programs (“OJP”),
and Bureau of Justice Assistance (“BJA”) has grant funding available through the
Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (“CESF”) Program for Fiscal Year 2020
Formula Grant Solicitation CFDA # 16034 Allocation to assist with funding operations
of police departments preparing for and responding to the COVID-19 virus.
The Richmond Police Department has been awarded an allocation of $45,790.00 for
operations. There is no local match requirement for these funds.
