APPROVING SETTLEMENT - KATELY vs BOROUGH OF CARTERET
WHEREAS, that matter of Kately, et al, v. Borough of Carteret was filed and
docketed in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Docket No. L-7858-96; and
WHEREAS, the parties with the aid of the Court have agreed to an amicable
settlement of said matters; and
WHEREAS, by Order of the Court, the terms of said settlement have been sealed
by the Court; and
WHEREAS, said settlement resolves all claims and is made without an admission
of wrong doing by either party
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret does hereby approve the settlement approved by the Court and
voted upon in closed session by Order of the Court on February 4, 1999.
Adopted this 9th day of February, 1999
and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 10, 1999.
