SECTION 4-31
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4 SECTION 4-31 OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD REGARDING ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL AND KENDALL
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
That Chapter 4, Article 2, Section 4-31(b)(1) of the Code of Ordinances
is hereby amended by the addition of the following:
I. e. Annual permit for sampling in connection with sales promotions.
In lieu of the permit fee described in d. above of $10.00 per day, the local liquor
control commissioner may issue an annual permit for a fee of $300.00 per year.
No licensee shall be allowed to engage in such sales promotional efforts as
described above, for more than 8 hours in any one week. Additionally, the local
liquor control commissioner shall be authorized to impose the days and the
hours for which said sampling shall be allowed. Such permit shall be subject to
the other conditions described in Section 4-31 for daily permits in addition to any
other conditions or limitations imposed by the local liquor control commissioner.
That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby amended.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval as required by law.
This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance No. 2234
