AMENDING THE CHARGES FOR WATER AND SEWER SERVICE FOR THE
VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD
ADOPTED ON THE 21ST DAY OF APRIL, 2003.
PUBLISHED IN PAMPHLET FORM BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE FRESEINT
AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, THIS 25TH DAY OF APRIL, 2003.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CHARGES FOR WATER AND SEWER SERVICE
FOR THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: That Chapter 8 Section 8-51 (1) b, Rates; Charges is hereby amended by
striking ($2.72) and inserting in its place ($2.80) dollars per hundred cubic feet of usage; that
Chapter 8, Section 8-51 (1) a, is hereby amended by striking ($5.44) and inserting ($5.60) in its
place.
SECTION TWO: That Chapter 8, Section 8-51 (2) a, Rates; Charges is hereby amended by
striking ($6.90) and inserting ($7.08) in its place; that Chapter 8 Section $-51 (2) b; .Rates;
Charges is hereby amended by striking ($2.30) and inserting ($2.36) in its place.
SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect for the Village's water
bills issued during August of 2003, and. thereafter after its passage, approval, and publication in
the manner provided by law.
