CLOSED SESSION MINUTES
HILLSBOROUGH TOWN BOARD
~onday,February12,2001
The Hillsborough Town Board held a Closed Session for the purpose of discussing a personnel
matter on February 12, 2001 in the Hillsborough Town Barn. Present for the Closed Session
were Mayor Horace H. Johnson, Sr., Commissioners Kenneth Chavious, Frances Dancy, Evelyn
Lloyd, Mark Sheridan, and Brian Lowen. Staff present were Town Manager Eric Peterson, and
Town Clerk Donna Armbrister.
Mayor Horace H. Johnson, Sr. opened the Closed Session.
Town Manager Eric Peterson updated the Board on the Public Works Director Position. He
informed them that the he and the staff had interviewed Demetric Potts from Wake County that
day.
Manager Peterson recommended placing an Item on the Agenda for a future Board meeting to
amend that position classification to Public Works Director/Assistant Town Manager.
By consensus, the Board agreed.
Upon a motion by Commissioner Lowen, seconded by Commissioner Chavious, the Board
moved to return t Open Session by a vote of 5-0. The motion was declared passed.
