Councilman Presents the following Ordinance Seconded by Councilman
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER254,
ENTITLED °VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC" OF THE
CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Carteret,
(hereinafter "Borough "), that Chapter 254 entitled "Vehicles and Traffic" of the Code of
the Borough of Carteret is hereby amended and supplemented as follows:
Section 1. §254 -27, entitled "Schedule IX: One -Way Streets." is hereby amended
and supplemented to include the following additional roadways:
Schedule IX: One -Nay Streets.

Section 2. §254 -22, entitled "Schedule N: Limited Time Parking." is hereby
amended and supplemented to include the following additional roadways:
Schedule IV: Limited Time Parking.
Terminal Ave.
Larch St. to Roosevelt
Parallel Parking
Southside
15 minutes only
Roosevelt Ave
Pershing to Terminal,
Northside
15 minutes only
7 am to 10 pm
Section 3. All Ordinances and/or provisions thereof inconsistent with the provision
of this Ordinance shall be and are hereby repealed as to the extent of any
such inconsistencies.

Section 4. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of this Ordinance shall be
declared invalid by judgment of any Court of competent jurisdiction, the
section, subsection, part, clause or phrase shall be deemed to be sever able
from the remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication
according to applicable law.
