RE: Approval of Contract 114-2020
BOW Date: September 24, 2020
Dear Board of Works & Safety Members:
The Finance Department is requesting approval of Contract 114-2020 with Henry Community
Health to provide testing services in connection with the City Employee Health Fair coming up
on Wednesday, September 30th, Thursday, October lst and Friday, October 3, 2020. This year the
event will be held in the City Building and spread out over 3 days in order to maintain social
distancing regulations.
The Wellness Screenings that Henry Community Health will be doing are as follows:
Lipid Panel, CBC—Complete Blood Count, CMP—Comprehensive Metabolic Panel,
Hemoglobin A1C, TSH—Thyroid Stimulating Hormone and the added PSA—Prostate-Specific
Antigen for all male employees. Individualized reporting will be sent to the employee's home
and to their primary care physician.
The cost breaks down as follows: $60 per female participant and$70 per male participant.
The $10 difference is due to the cost of the PSA for the male participants.
