REGULAR MEETING
June 19, 2012
The Housing Authority of the City of Lynwood met in a regular meeting in the Council
Chambers, 11330 Bullis Road on the above date at 6:30 p.m.
Chairman Morton presiding.
Commissioners Castro, Rodriguez, Santillan -Beas, Alatorre and Morton were present.
Also present were Executive Director Haley, Authority Counsel Galante, Authority
Secretary Quinonez and Treasurer Hernandez.
Authority Secretary Quinonez announced that the Agenda had been posted in
accordance with the Brown Act.

CONSENT CALENDAR
It was moved by Commissioner Rodriguez, seconded by Commissioner Santillan -Beas,
to approve the consent calendar and to receive and file staff reports.
City Attorney Fred Galante stated that there was an amendment to Item #5, a joint item
with Item #18 on the City Council agenda. He stated that the City received additional
commitments of HUD funds under Item #5 so the new amount would be $770,263
rather than the amount identified on the agenda. He stated that this came to the City's
attention today.
It was subsequently moved by Commissioner Castro, seconded by Commissioner
Rodriguez, to make the amendment of the new amount stated by the Authority Counsel
for the joint agenda item.

HOUSING DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION (CHDO) FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF AFFORDABLE OWNERSHIP HOUSING AND TO
APPROVE HFH AS A CITY DESIGNATED CHDO
RESOLUTION NO. 2012.004 ENTITLED:
A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A HOME PROGRAM RESERVATION AND
COMMITMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND HABITAT FOR
HUMANITY OF GREATER LOS ANGELES (HFH) TO DEVELOP AFFORDABLE OWNERSHIP
UNITS AND TO APPROVE HFH AS A CITY DESIGNATED CHDO

Having no further discussion, it was moved by Commissioner Castro, seconded by
Commissioner Rodriguez, and carried to adjourn the regular Lynwood Housing
Authority meeting at 6:59 p.m.
