Luken’s business was located at the corner of 7th and E. Main Street, built in 1876, now Phillip’s
Drug Store.

Andrew F. Scott House: 126 North 10th St reet

Style: Italianate, 1858
Andrew Scott was the founding President of Second National Bank. The house remained in the
family until circa 2001. Was formerly a house museum.

John A. Hasecoster* House: 1907 East Main Street

Style: Colonial Revival, 1897
Architect: John A. Hasecoster. He lived there from 1897 to about 1920.

Stephen O. Yates, Architect Elwood McGuire was the owner. His company made lawnmowers
and are featured in photos of the Chicago, IL 1891World Exposition/White City

Architect: John A. Hasecoster - It is one of the only buildings attributed to Hasecoster. Plaque
on eastern wall. Original Bell Tower no longer extant.

parts of the 1830 farm house. Vacant for over 20 years. Repair to rehabilitate 200K.
Properly listed for over 5 years with no sales at 250K.

Architect: John A. Hasecoster. Apartments featured fireplaces, built-ins, storage areas in
basement. Fifteen original apartments. Exterior brick imported Europe. High glaze on brick can
be seen on several other structures nearby.
