AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 222 STREETS AND
SIDEWALKS OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret that
Chapter 222, Titled "Streets and Roads of the Code of the Borough of Carteret"
shall be amended as follows:
1) Subsection 222-14, Delete "Borough Engineer" and replace it with "Zoning
Officer";
2) Subsection 222-15, Delete "Borough Engineer" wherever it exists and replace it
with "Zoning Officer";
3) Subsection 222-17, Delete "Borough Engineer" and replace it with "Zoning
Officer.
-- 4) Subsection 222-17.1A (1) (a), Delete "Borough Engineer" and replace it with
"Zoning Officer."
5) Subsection 222-17.1A (1) (b), Add a new sentence after the last word which
reads "Concrete mix shall be 4500/PSI air entrained for all outdoor areas;"
6) Subsection 222-18, Line 1, Delete "Borough Engineer" and replace it with
"Zoning Officer".
7) Subsection 222-18, Lines 2 and 3, Delete words "Borough Engineer" and
replace it with "Zoning Officer or his Designee".
8) A new section designated 222-20.1 Enforcement shall be added to enforce to
read as follows:
"222-20.1, Enforcement. It shall be the duty of the Zoning Officer to enforce the
provisions of this chapter;
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this ordinance shall be advertised as
prescribed by law.
