ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION
Avon Road
Resident and Abutters:
Your road has been selected for roadway improvements consisting of roadway reclamation and
repaving of the roadway, installation of granite curbing, and new concrete sidewalks, driveway
aprons, and accessible ramps.
Construction activities, such as lowering of castings, drainage improvements and mobilization,
are scheduled to begin Friday, May 1, 2020. Work will be performed by our contractor, Onyx
Corporation.
Where necessary, `No Parking' signs will be posted along the area selected for road work.
Please do not park your car in the posted area. The Watertown Police will be informed of the
construction and its effects. Typical hours of construction work are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Please note that Belmont Street is under care and control of the Town of Belmont, which does
not allow overnight parking.
We will provide updates as the various phases of work continue. General schedule updates are

All work will follow the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
