COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY -OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
ORDINANCE NO. 58-2020
AN APPROPRIATION (TRANSFER) ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2020 BUDGET
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2020 on October 22, 2019 with Ordinance 39-2019; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one
major budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, The transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total amount
set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1 et. seq.;
and
WHEREAS, This transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2020 budget be amended as follows:
A. Aviation Fund (2102)
1. Delete $ 2,000.00 from
Aviation Fuel Account 2102-0305-202-2209
2. Add $ ' 2,000.00 to
Furniture and Fixtures Account 2102-0305-000-4420
