A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO APPROPRIATE AND
TRANSFER $15,000 OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY PARK MAINTENANCE FUNDS
TO THE PARK MAINTENANCE PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.909 AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE PURCHASE ORDER FOR PEST
CONTROL SERVICES AT LYNWOOD CITY PARK TO GMC PEST CONTROL, INC.
FOR A NOT -TO- EXCEED BID OF $13,600
WHEREAS, Lynwood City Park has developed a gopher infestation problem
which needs to be addressed; and
WHEREAS, three quotes were requested for gopher control services and two
quotes were received; and
WHEREAS, the lowest quote from GMC Pest Control, Inc. is for $13,600 for 12-
months service and Park Maintenance Funds can be used; and
WHEREAS, staff has identified available Los Angeles County Park Maintenance
funds that can be utilized for these services.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to sign the purchase order for gopher
control services.
Section 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to make the following
funds appropriation and transfer:

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
