A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE USE OF PROPOSITION C FUNDING FOR THE GATEWAY
CITIES 1 -710 CORRIDOR EIR/EIS AND AUTHORZING THE CITY MANAGER OR
DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE NECESSARY FUND APPROPRIATIONS AND
TRANSFERS
WHEREAS, the proposed improvements to the 1 -710 freeway require the
preparation of an Environmental Impact Study and Environmental Impact Statement;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood's share to fund these studies is $25,000; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the unappropriated Proposition C funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council authorizes Proposition C funding for the
Gateway Cities 1 -710 Freeway Environmental Impact Study and Environmental Impact
Statement.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriation and transfer:

$25,000 $25,000
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6 day of November, 2012.
