COMPLETE STREETS IMPROVEMENTS
WATERTOWN STREET AT THEURER PARK
Dear Residents and Abutters of Watertown Street at Theurer Park:
Please be informed that Onyx Corporation will be performing construction work on Watertown Street, between
Pond Street and Derby Road to implement Complete Streets improvements at Theurer Park. A schematic of
the work, which includes, curb, sidewalk, accessible ramps and other safety improvements, is available at:

• Work is scheduled to begin the week of March 23, 2020.
• Typical work hours will be 7 AM to 4 PM.
• Vehicular traffic in both directions will be maintained, however expect delays in the work area. Theurer
Park at Watertown Street may be closed at various times to facilitate the work safely.
• Parking restrictions will be in place and enforced in the work area during working hours.
• Please note that there may be lapses in work due to different crews performing different phases of work.

• The Watertown Police will be informed of the construction and its effects. Police details will be present
during work hours.
COVID-19 Information: DPW continues to evaluate its projects and potential impacts to residents, staff, and
contractors. Most DPW projects involve small construction crews (under 10 workers) and take place
outdoors. We are advising contractors and will be scheduling work such that if conditions change and orders
to stop work are issued, that projects can be cleaned up and shut down on short notice in a safe and orderly
manner.
