RE: Contract 155-2020 - Wayne County Emergency Communications Motorola Contract
Wayne County and The City of Richmond currently operate a joint Combined Dispatch and 911 Public
Safety Answering Point wherein all emergency communications within Wayne.County,Indiana are centrally
directed and dispatched.
Wayne County and the City of Richmond have entered into an agreement with Motorola Solutions to provide
Wayne County Emergency Communications with new dispatch consoles and ancillary software to support
said equipment.
On November 2,2020 Richmond Common Council approved Interlocal Agreement# 147-2020 for the
upgrade of communications equipment and software.
The City of Richmond is requesting approval of Contract 155-2020 for Motorola to provide the necessary
equipment and software. The total amount of the City's contribution is $255,000.00.
