A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO,
ADOPTING FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR THE PRODUCTION OF MAPS AND AERIAL
PHOTOS; PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS; AND, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of McCall has created a geographic information system (GIS) capable of
producing maps and aerial photos showing a variety of data; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to charge a fee for the production of these maps and photos to
reimburse the costs incurred by the City for developing, updating and reproducing these maps
and photos; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 08-21was adopted on November 6, 2008 establishing GIS fees for the
production of maps; and
WHEREAS, this Resolution changes the hourly rate for custom mapping and adds a fee for the
reproduction of aerial photos; and
WHEREAS, the current custom mapping fee of $20/hour does not account for the time and
materials for the service; and
WHEREAS, notice of the change of hourly rate for custom mapping and the additional fee for
aerial photos was published in The Star News, a newspaper of general circulation within the
City, on September 22 and 29, 2011; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the proposed new fees on October 6, 2011, as required
by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it is in the best interest of the owners of
property and of the inhabitants within the City to adopt the fees as set forth below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MCCALL, VALLEY COUNTY, IDAHO THAT:
Section 1: The following rates and fees are hereby adopted as the fees for GIS maps and
related services:
Electronic Data on Compact Disk (CD) $1.00/disk, $5.00 minimum
Electronic Data on Digital Video Disk (DVD) $2.00/disk, $5.00 minimum
Cut -stock, paper map, 8 %" x 11" or 11" x 17" $5.00
Roll -stock, paper map, 12" through 35" $10.00
Roll -stock, paper map, 36" through 41" $15.00
Roll -stock, paper map, 42" through 47" $20.00
Roll -stock, paper map, 48" through 53" $25.00

(All roll -stock, paper maps measured at longest dimension)
Custom mapping $45.00/hour
(Any labor beyond initial 2 hours, billed in 15 minute increments)

Map books, 11" x 17" $0.30/page, $5.00 minimum
Shipping & Handling (domestic only) $5.00
Aerial Photo, 24" x 36" Print $30.00
Section 2: Resolution 11-16 replaces Resolution 08-21
Section 3: This resolution shall be in full force and effect on October 6, 2011.
