AUTHORIZING CONTRACT WITH BCPEABODY
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, INC., RE: NMNRINA PROJECT
2EAS, the Borough of Carteret, ( "Borough "), requires expert consulting services
to the proposed Marina Project at Carteret Waterfront Park; and
WHEREAS, BCPeabody Construction Services, Inc., Tampa, FL, is uniquely qualified t<
provide the required expert consulting services associated with the ' operation of the proposes
Carteret Marina and with regard to the permitting therefore; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has received a proposal from BCPeabody Construction Services, Inc.,
to provide said services at a total cost not to exceed $7,000.00; and
the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal and the Borough Engineer has
the approval of the same; and
the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for the
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret as follows:
The proposal from BCPeabody Construction Services, Inc., to provide
consulting services in connection with the Proposed Marina Marine Risk
Analysis at Carteret Waterfront Park at a total cost not to exceed $7,000.00 is
hereby approved, and the Borough's Law Director is hereby authorized to
enter into an Agreement with BCPeabody Construction Services, Inc., in a
form acceptable to him.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11- 5(1)(a) awarded pursuant to the Borough's Fair
and Open process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and CME Associates.

As per Resolution Number 15 -14
THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following: PROFESSIONAL SERVICE REQUIRES
EXPERT CONSULTING SERVICE WITH REGARD TO PROPOSED MARINA /WATERFRONT PARK PROJECT.
NOT TO EXCEED $7,000.00
According to the terms set forth in the Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set forth in the Resolution.
