The Agenda Meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret preceding the Regular Meeting, Thursday, January 29, 2015,
was held on January 15, 2015, 6:00 P.M., Council Chambers, Memorial
Municipal Building, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey.
The following were noted present:
Mayor Daniel J. Reiman
Councilmember Jorge Diaz
" Dennis DiMascio
" Randy Krum
Noted absent were Councilmembers Bellino, Naples and Sitarz. Also
noted absent was Municipal Clerk Kathleen M. Barney, MMC.
Also noted present was Borough Attorney Robert J. Bergen.

The Borou„" ^.ttorney stated that on Jam. ar r 2015, the 2015 Annual Statamnt of
Notice was mailed to The Home News Tribune, The Star Ledger and n�etirgt Notice
posted on the Bulletin Board. Notice was published in The Home News
Tribune on January 7, 2015 and The Star Ledger on January 8, 2015.
The Meeting was opened with a minute of Silent Prayer and the
Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Daniel J. Reiman.
Upon MMS &C by Councilmembers Diaz and DiMascio and unanimous
affirmative vote of the three (3) Councilmembers present, the Minutes
of December 18, 2014, were approved, transcribed and engrossed by
the Clerk.

PRESENTATION: Boy Scouts
Mayor Reiman said they have a small presentation to our Boy Scout
Troop. He gave checks to the Troop from Rahway Arch, the Mayor's
Children Charity Trust Fund, Carteret Business Partnership and Sail
Mayor Reiman Safe. The monies will be used for uniforms and to send one or two
Senior Scouts to National Youth weekend for leadership training.

The Mayor stated that he is adding Resolution 415, a Preliminary
Investigation for Redevelopment of Block 3410, Lots 7 &8; Block 404,
Lot 4; Block 500, Lots 1 &2; Block 501, Lots 1, 1.01, 2, 3 and 4; Block
502, Lott; and Block 503, Lots 1 & 2. This was previously referred over
to the Planning Board. There was a technical correction in the
resolution so this would be amending the resolution and re-
forwarding it to the Planning Board.

ordered to be paid. Upon individual roll call vote, Councilmembers
Diaz, DiMascio and Krum voted in the affirmative. Councilmembers
Bellino, Naples and Sitarz were noted absent.

Councilmember Krum stated that he hopes that their fellow
Councilmembers and Borough Clerk have a speedy recovery from their
illnesses. He reported progress in the Fire Department.
Councilmember Diaz had nothing to report at this time.

approximately 6:15 P.M.
