BINDER COURSE PAVING
Dear Resident/Abutters:
Weather permitting, the Watertown Department of Public Works and our contractor
Onyx Construction will begin the process of installing the binder course on the following
streets:
Monday, May 11: Avon Road & Bellevue Road.
Tuesday, May 12: Bartlett Street & Everett Avenue
Tuesday, May 12 and Wednesday, May 13: Piermont Street & Tappan Avenue
Wednesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 14: Chandler Street, Burnham Street &
Bridgham Avenue
Please note that this schedule is subject to change based on weather, availability of
asphalt trucks, production, etc. It is possible for the work to be ahead of or behind
schedule. Please plan accordingly.
`No Parking' signs will be posted along the area selected for road work. Please do not
park your car in the posted area. Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced during
this phase of the work. The Watertown Police will be informed of the construction and
its effects. Typical hours of construction work are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
We understand that the process is noisy, messy and disruptive and apologize in
advance for inconvenience you may experience. We know you will enjoy the improved
appearance and condition of your roadway for many years in the future.
