A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY: OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING
THE PLANS, CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND WORKING DETAILS FOR WATER
WELL NO. 8 SECONDARY PRESSURE RELIEF /TWO -WAY VALVES
CONSTRUCTION, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.915; AND AUTHORIZING THE
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS' ENGINEERING STAFF TO SOLICIT BIDS
WHEREAS, the construction of Water Well No. 8 Secondary Pressure
Relief/Two -way Valves Project is listed in the Capital Improvement Program for fiscal
year (FY) 2012 -2013; and
WHEREAS, the estimated project cost for said project is $937,000; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of Lynwood has
determined that said project is in accordance with the California Environmental Quality
Act (CEQA) and is categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301 (C) of the CEQA
guidelines pertaining to statutory exemptions; and
WHEREAS, the project is ready to be advertised for the solicitation of bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Water Well No. 8 Secondary Pressure Relief/Two -way Valves
Project, Project No. 4011.67.915 is categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301 (c)
of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and adheres to CEQA Guidelines.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Lynwood adopts the Plans,
Specifications and Working Details for the Water Well No. 8 Secondary Pressure
Relief/Two -way Valves Project, Project No., 4011.67.915.
Section 3. The City Council of the City of Lynwood authorizes the solicitation
of bids for said project.
Section 4. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20 day of November, 2012.
