A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE CONTINUED PAYMENT FOR AAE, INC., DBA INFRASTRUCTURE
ENGINEERS' SERVICES THROUGH THE COMPLETION OF PROJECT DESIGN OF
CERTAIN WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, on April 6, 2009, the City entered into a consulting engineering
services contract with AAE, Inc., (dba Infrastructure Engineers, IE) for the project and
construction management and inspection for various projects included in the City's
Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, on May 17, 2011, December20, 2011, and March 20, 2012, the City
Council approved Contract Amendments 1, 2 and 3 to extend the contract service
through the design completion of the following projects:
1. Well No. 22 Site Development, Project No. 894
2. SCADA System, Project No. 897
3. Emergency Generators, Project No. 901
4. Water Wells Beautification, Project No. 910
5. Well No. 8 Secondary Pressure Regulation Valve, Project No. 915; and
WHEREAS, the design phase for these various projects has taken longer than
anticipated and as such necessitates an additional $50,000 in project management
fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the continued payment for
Infrastructure Engineers' services through the completion of project design of the
following water improvement projects:
1. Well No. 22 Site Development, Project No. 894
2. SCADA System, Project No. 897
3. Emergency Generators, Project No. 901
4. Water Wells Beautification, Project No. 910
5. Well No. 8 Secondary Pressure Regulation Valve, Project No. 915
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
