A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE MULFORD AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.004
AND 4011.67.868, AS BEING COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on July 17, 2012, the City Council of the City of Lynwood awarded
the Mulford Avenue Improvement Project contract to Sialic Contractors Corporation dba
Shawnan in the amount of $279,425; and
WHEREAS, the project started on August 20, 2012 and was completed on
October 4, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the project was funded with the federal CDBG and CDBG -R funds;
and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $285,810.58; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on October 4, 2012
and found that ' all work is complete in accordance with ..the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the Mulford
Avenue Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.004 and 4011.67.868 as complete in
accordance with contract documents; and authorizes the City Engineer to process the
recordation of the Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20 day of November, 2012.
