CLOSED SESSION MINUTES
HILLSBOROUGH TOWN BOARD
May 14,2001
7:30 PM, Town Barn
The Hillsborough Town Board held a Closed Session on May 14, 2001 in the Hillsborough
Town Barn. Present for the Closed Session were Mayor Horace H. Johnson, Sr., and
Commissioners Frances Dancy, Evelyn Lloyd, Mark Sheridan, and Brian Lowen. Absent from
the Closed Session was Commissioner Kenneth Chavious. Present were Town Manager Eric
Peterson, Town Clerk Donna Armbrister, Town Engineer Keel, Public Works Director/Assistant
Town Manager Demetric Potts, and Town Attorney Nick Herman.
Mayor Horace H. Johnson, Sr. called the Closed Session to order.
Town Attorney Nick Herman updated the Board on the status of the remaining Reservoir
Litigation Cases.
By consensus, the Board authorized the town Attorney to proceed with an appeal to the North
Carolina Supreme Court.
Upon a motion by Commissioner Sheridan, seconded by Commissioner Lowen, the Board
. 7~~ vote of 4-0. The motion was declared passed.
