RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CARTERET URBAN ENTERPRISE
ZONE BOARD TO REQUEST FUNDING FOR TOWN CENTER
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") would like to revitalize
Cooke Avenue between Harris Street and Romanowski Street; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Council of the Borough has determined that it would be
appropriate to utilize Urban Enterprise Zone "UEZ" funds to pay for said
revitalization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS RESOLVED by the Borough of Carteret
that the Carteret UEZ Board be authorized to request from the New Jersey UEZ
Commission funds from the Carteret UEZ account for the Town Center Project.
Adopted this 18th day of February, 1999
and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 19, 1999.
