AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH BEACON PLANNING & CONSULTING SERVICES, LLC
FOR VARIOUS PLANNING/ENGINEERING PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized planninglengineering services in
connection with various projects in the Borough; and
WHEREAS, Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC, Colts Towne Plaza, Suite 207, 41
State Highway 34 South, Colts Neck, New Jersey 07722, possesses the requisite experience and
expertise to provide said services; and _
WHEREAS, Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC, has submitted a proposal to provide
said services at a total cost not to exceed $10,000.00 and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for s
purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the Borough
Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC for
planning/engineering services in regard to various projects in the Borough
at a total cost not to exceed $10,000.00 is hereby approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services con
pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11- 5(1)(a) in accordance with the Borough's
and Open Process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purch£
Department and Beacon Planning & Consulting Services, LLC.
Adopted this 12'' day of February, 2015
and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 13, 2015.

As per Resolution Number 15 -35.
THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following: PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT
VARIOUS PLANNING /ENGINEERING PROJECT.
NOT TO EXCEED $10,000.00
According to the terms set forth in the Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set forth in the Resolution.
