VETERANS' WAIVER FOR HANDICAPPED PARKING
FEBRUARY 12, 2015
WHEREAS, this Resolution has been placed on the agenda by Mayor Daniel J. Reiman
for consideration by the Council; and
WHEREAS, local veterans who have served our country and have become disabled are
often in need of handicapped parking spaces; and
WHEREAS, in consideration of the noble and dedicated service provided by our local
veterans, it is the desire of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret to assist
veterans within our community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that the fee for the establishment
of a local handicapped parking space for disabled veterans is hereby waived.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the appropriate Borough Officials be authorized to
take any and all - necessary actions to implement the provisions of this Resolution.
