HomeMy Public PortalAboutPCM 2009-07-29FRASER PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES DATE: Wednesday, July 29, 2009 MEETING: Planning Commission Meeting PLACE: Town Hall Board Room PRESENT Commission: Commissioners: Chair -Steve Sumrall, Vesta Shapiro, Philip Naill, Scott Brent, Mayor Cook, Katie Soles and Peggy Smith Staff: Town Planner Catherine Trotter, Town Clerk Lu Berger Others: Carrie McCool, McCool Development Solutions. Chairperson Sumrall called the meeting to order at 6:38 p.m. 1. Roll CaII 2. Approval of June 24, 2009 meeting minutes. Comm. Soles moved, and Comm. Naill seconded the motion to approve the minutes as amended. Motion carried: 7 0. 3. Open Forum 4. Public Hearinqs /Action Items a. First Amendment to Grand Park Master Sign Plan A staff report dated July 27, 2009, prepared by Carrie McCool of McCool Development Solutions was included in the Commissioner's packet. Ms. McCool outlined the outstanding issues for the Commission. The applicant, Mr. Lipscomb, was in attendance and was able to answer questions. Applicant will revise the plan and re- submit to staff by August 5 2009 at 10:00. The regularly scheduled PC meeting will move from August 26 to August 12 6:00 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. Comm. Brent moved, and Comm. Naill seconded the motion to continue the First Amendment to Grand Park Master Sign Plan to August 12, 2009 6:00 p.m. Motion carried: 7 -0. 5. Comprehensive Plan Workshop Workshop rescheduled to the next meeting. 6. Staff Choice Fraser Farmers' Market extended until 8/16/09. 7. Commissioners' Choice Comm. Shapiro moved, and Comm.
