MINUTES

MEETING: Planning Commission Special Meeting

PRESENT
Commission: Commissioners: Chair-Steve Sumrall, Mayor Fran Cook, Vesta
Shapiro, Katie Soles, Philip Naill, Peggy Smith and Scotty Brent.
Staff: Town Planner Catherine Trotter
Others: Adam Cwiklan
Chairperson Sumrall called the meeting to order at 6:11 p.m.
1. Roll Call
2. Approval of October 22, 2008 meeting minutes.

Mayor Cook moved, and Comm. Shapiro seconded the motion to approve the
minutes. Motion carried: 7-0.
3. Open Forum

4. Public Hearings/Action Items
a. None
5. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding
a) Comprehensive Plan Workshop. Discussed the use of a consultant,
conducting a survey, timeframe, possible meeting on December 10,

6. Staff Choice
Planner-:
Holiday cards and gifts were given to the PC members. Thanks for all
your hard work this year.
Holiday party is set for December 17, 2008 @ 6:00 p.m.

Comm. Smith: Nothing
Comm. Shapiro: Discussed the challenges from the last PC meeting.
Comm. Naill: Nothing
Comm. Soles: Also wanted to discuss the last PC meeting.
Comm. Brent: Nothing
Comm. Brent moved, and Comm. Shapiro seconded the motion to adjourn.
Motion carried: 7-0. Meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m
