ORDINANCE NO. ld 10-3
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1472-1953, COMMONLY KNOWN
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, APPROVED
APRIL 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS,.Ordinance No. 1472-1953, commonly known as
the Zoning Ordinance of Richmond, and the Zone Map made a part
thereof, designates and describes as A Residential and Limited
Industrial the following described territory in the City of
Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, to -wit:
Part of the northwest.quarter of Section 28, Township
14 north, Range 1 west, located in the City of Richmond,
Wayne County, Indiana, more particularly described as
follows: Beginning at a point in the west line of the
northwest quarter of said 'Section 28, said point being
165 feet south of the northwest corner of said quarter
section; running thence south from said beginning point
along the west line of said quarter section to a point
located 1480.5 feet north of the southwest corner of said
quarter section, said point being the intersection of the
west line of said quarter section and the north line of
Berry Field Subdivision; thence east 215 feet; thence
north 10 feet; thence east 125 feet; thence north 17
feet; thence east 150 feet; thence north 73.1 feet;
thence west 92.6 feet; thence north 196.9 feet; thence
2-P east 696.22 feet; thence north 830.86 feet to a point
r located 165 feet south of the north line of said northwest
quarter of said Section 28; thence west 1093.62 feet to
the place of beginning, EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following
described real estate, to -wit: Beginning at a point in
the west line of said northwest quarter of said Section 28,
said point being 738.33 feet south of the northwest corner
of said quarter section; Lthence south along said west line
of said quarter section 257.53 feet; thence ea;s;�� 1093.62
feet; thence nort�432.53 feet; thence west $ : -feet;
thence south 175 feet; thence west 151.85 feet to the
place of beginning of this exception.
and,
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change
the use of said territory to D Residential;
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the
Zoning Ordinance and on the Zone Map be, and the same is hereby

changed covering the above described territory to D Residential
and that the said territory and the use and area.thereof be
regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval by the Mayor, and publi-
cation as by law required.
