A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING . THE EXTENSION OF THE CONTRACT TO DECKSIDE POOL
SERVICE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE NATATORIUM POOL SYSTEM AND
BATEMAN HALL FOUNTAIN, IN THE AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $15,000
WHEREAS, in FY 12-13, the city has entered into an agreement with Deckside
Pool Service in the amount not to exceed $15,000 to maintain the pool system in the
Natatorium; and
WHEREAS, the City had to go through several emergency repairs to the existing
hot water piping system, valves and motors within the Natatorium; and
WHEREAS, staff has requested additional cleaning service from Deckside Pool
Service for the fountain fronting Bateman Hall; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Lynwood Municipal Code Section 6-3.7, Council
approval is required to obtain services in excess of $15,000 per vendor per year.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes staff to issue a new purchase order in
the amount not-to-exceed $15,000 to Deckside Pool Service for the Natatorium and •
Bateman Hall cleaning service.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
Section 3. This Resolution becomes effective immediately.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4`h day of December, 2012.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
PARCEL MAP NO. 71274
WHEREAS, the development at 3254 Palm Avenue requires the preparation and
recordation of Parcel Map No. 71274; and
•
WHEREAS, the Parcel Map No. 71274 has been reviewed by the Los Angeles
County Engineer for accuracy and reviewed by staff for compliance with the State
Subdivision Map Act and the City's Subdivision Ordinance and the final map is now
ready for approval by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. ` The'City Council finds the above recitals to be true and correct and
hereby approves Parcel Map No. 71274.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
