PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION AND REFUND
WHEREAS, properties were sub - divided in 2013 and added
assessed values in the 2014 tax year were over assessed on
the sub - divided properties, and
WHEREAS, the tax assessor, upon finding the discrepancy has
corrected the 2015 records and has recommended that this
added assessment be removed from the Borough's 2014 tax
records, and
WHEREAS, the tax collector has calculated the amount of taxes
to be cancelled as follows:

5805 27702 $1,494.49
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax
Collector cancel and refund the 2014 added taxes as set forth
in this resolution.
Adopted this 26 day of February, 2015
and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 27, 2015.
