AUTHORIZING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH BCPEABODY
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, INC., RE: MARINA PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret, ( "Borough "), requires expert consulting services e
regard to the proposed Marina Project at Carteret Waterfront Park; and
WHEREAS, BCPeabody Construction Services, Inc., Tampa, FL, is uniquely qualified
provide the required expert consulting services associated with the operation of the propo
Carteret Marina and with regard to the pennitting therefore; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has received a proposal from BCPeabody Construction Services, Inc.,
to provide said services at a total cost not to exceed $5,000.00; and
the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal and the Borough Engineer has
the approval of the same; and
the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for the
', THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
'et as follows:
The proposal from BCPeabody Construction Services, Inc., to provide
consulting services in connection with the Proposed Marina Marine Risk
Analysis at Carteret Waterfront Park at a total cost not to exceed $5,000.00 is
hereby approved, and the Borough's Law Director is hereby authorized to
enter into an Agreement with BCPeabody Construction Services, Inc., in a
form acceptable to him.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11- 5(1)(a) awarded pursuant to the Borough's Fair
and Open process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and CME Associates.
Adopted this 26" day of February, 2015
and certified as a true copy of the
